Dried Chilli Paste Recipe
Stores well in the refrigerator.
INGREDIENTS:
- 100 gram red dried chillies
- 1/2 cup water for blending
- water for boiling
DIRECTIONS:
1. Cut dried chillies into smaller pieces over a colander.
2. Rub the cut chillies with hand to remove most seeds out.
3. Wash the chillies thoroughly.
4. Transfer the chillies into a pot, fill with enough water and boil for 15 - 30 minutes on medium low heat.
5. Strain and add the chillies with 1/2 cup water into a blender, do not wash the chillies anymore.
6. Blend until it becomes a smooth paste.
7. Let chilli paste cool to room temperature first before storing in the fridge in an airtight container.
